Hello Freedom Fighters,
Thanks to the generosity of MRF members, thousands of dollars have been raised for motorcyclists’ rights over the years because someone brought something unique or a one-off that had real value to the people bidding.
Last year in Denver, we saw a resurgence of the spirit that once again highlighted the auction as a capper to another great event. And that renewed spirit and enthusiasm came directly from MRF members who contributed value-laced items to the silent and live auctions.
Once again, as I did last year, I’m asking you to search your collections of unique motorcycle or freedom related items and bring them with you to Bloomington to help the MRF stay true to this year’s conference theme… Honor the Past, Protect the Future with your generosity.
In the few weeks remaining before you head to Minnesota, think about what you’d like to see at the silent and live auction. Ask yourself, “Would this be something that I’d like to own?” That should be the standard to your bottom line. If you haven’t thought about an auction item, you still have time to find something to represent your state and our lifestyle.
Your contributions helped bring back the days when spirited bidding rang across the room and spotters danced to keep track of the bidders. It was fun, entertaining and it all went to a worthy cause – funding the efforts to protect your rights.
With less than a month to go before we meet Bloomington, Minnesota, at the 35th Annual Meeting of the Minds, we look forward to seeing you again. Thank you for your support of the MRF and your dedication to the rights of Motorcyclists.
Yours once again, in Freedom -- & fun!
